Berry Brownies

1 can of chickpeas rinsed and drained with liquid put aside

liquid from chickpeas whipped

1/2 cup almond butter

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup almond flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cups dried blueberries or cranberries

1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips


blend everything in a food processor with chocolate chips and berries held on side.  Fold in berries and chocolate.  Pour into 8x8 greased or parchment lined brownie pan.  Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.  It is best if cooled for a few hours or overnight.
