Ingredients
4 cups raw pecan halves, approximately 1 lb.
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup brown sugar, or sub with coconut sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
3 Tbsp vegan butter
in a preheated med heat pan throw in walnuts and roast for 5 minutes. add the rest of the ingredients and stir constantly until the pan dries out and all the good stuff is clinging to the nuts. Pour nuts onto parchment paper to cool. Once they are cooled, store in an airtight container. They are good for 1-2 weeks, for longer put containers in freezer for up to 6 months.
