Salsa Dry Seasoning Mix

Best Red Salsa Recipe (Ready in 10 Minutes) - Cookie and Kate
1/2 cup of crushed, dried red pepper flakes
1 Tbl dried parsley flakes
3 Tbl dried cilantro flakes
1/2 cup of dried onion flakes
2 Tbl dried, minced garlic
2 Tbl of salt (use canning salt if to be used for canning or your salsa will eventually turn cloudy)
1 Tbl of black pepper

Simply mix all of the ingredients in a jar and shake.
I use about 1 tablespoon of seasoning per 14-15 oz can of drained petite, diced tomatoes.

Our favorite way to use it is to put one can of drained tomatoes in the blender with 2 tbl of seasoning, blend for just 1 or 2 seconds and then mix in storage container with one can of drained, unblended tomatoes. This gives it the perfect chunky consistency. You can, of course, substitute fresh tomatoes if you have them!!
We go through so much of this, I usually at least double this recipe when I make it!
